Last month, we held our 4 Site Security Business AGM. This was an important opportunity for our business to come together to focus on our performance over the last 12 months against our objectives, to take into account feedback and opportunities for improvements, and to celebrate our achievements. This focus provides a strong foundation to support our short and long-term future business plans, as we build towards 4 Site Security success as one team walking The 4 Site Way.
Firmly at the heart of our meeting, as usual, were our people and strong company values. Each area of our business was empowered and actively involved, through an open and honest, collaborative approach, to support the best possible outcomes for our colleagues and customers through strategic decision making.
We are pleased to share with you the highlights of our recent Business Update.
Our Business Growth

There have been so many achievements and highlights to choose from. However, most important has been how our teams have gone about working through our objectives in line with our core values of Support, Integrity, Trust and Excellence.
As a result, our company has continued to see growth over the year with a 24.87% turnover - an increase of 25.12% Services turnover and 23.40% Systems turnover.

We also saw a fantastic client retention rate of 99.59%, a colleague retention of 97.76%, with 31.6% of our clients using multiple 4 Site Security service lines.
As we successfully overachieved our target for both Services and Systems, we will aim to consolidate and strengthen next year with a turnover percentage increase once again in double figures.
The ACS score this year improved from a score of 109 to 121, which puts 4 Site in the top 10% of all ACS approved contractors. This is above the average for companies with a similar number of licensable staff. The findings from this year’s ACS audit were three Good Practices and six Improvement Options. Furthermore, for the ISO audits for ISO 9001 Quality Management System and ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, we are proud that we had four Good Practices, no major or minor nonconformances, and three opportunities for improvement.

Investing in Our People: Our Greatest Asset

We recognise that our people are our greatest asset, and we commit to providing them with clear direction, support and training to reach their objectives.
Our core belief is that the positive direction of our business growth and development is very much based on developing and supporting our people. Through our continued focus on upskilling, training, and promotion opportunities, we ensure that every colleague has the tools they need to grow, which in turn drives our company forward to achieve our goals.
4 Site Security has been actively out and about promoting our company and the security industry as a place where you can have a happy and successful career. We attended the Leeds Council Affiliated Job Fairs with a focus on attracting local talent and supporting employment opportunities in the community.

Additionally, recognising the positive contribution of our colleagues is vital, which is why we continue celebrating outstanding performance through employee and team of the month nominations and awards. This has proven to be a valued addition, as staff are proud to receive these accolades for their hard work and dedication.
Colleague Feedback and Future Plans

We carry out an annual survey to give everyone the opportunity to give their views on a variety of topics including colleague satisfaction, professional growth, training, management, communication, pay and values.
The results were overwhelmingly positive: an amazing 94% of our colleagues feel that 4 Site Security is a great place to work, and 100% would recommend us to others. We saw majority positive responses on opportunities for professional growth and strong results for job-related training with opportunities to apply talent and expertise.
Most colleagues strongly agree or agree about receiving appropriate, regular, and open and honest two-way communication and information from managers.

There is strong agreement from colleagues that they are aligned with our values, and that 4 Site Security lives up to its Vision and Values, with the same positivity around employee views on diversity, inclusion and equality.
The full overview will be provided in a future bulletin.
Next year, the HR department aims to review upcoming employment law changes, implement training with departments and further develop our processes and improve our handbooks.
Compliance and Health and Safety

Our commitment to compliance, which demonstrates to all interested parties that we take safety and social impact very seriously, is backed up by voluntarily undertaking internal and external audits across the year.
In 2025, 10 audits were completed with just one major finding, which was documentation-based and has been resolved, and no minors. Nonconformance management has improved over the last 12 months with a significant reduction of open nonconformances, which have been closed out with corrective actions, and no repeated nonconformances this year.
Complaints management has also been enhanced with a negligible number of open complaints at the time of our review, showing that all complaints have been managed well.
We introduced the Health and Safety Committee this year, which includes leaders across the business portfolio, to conduct quarterly meetings where we discuss Near Misses and bring continued focus on the safety culture in the business.
In compliance, we also improved the organisation of the head office hard drives, optimised the startup process for new sites, and rolled out head office DSE assessments and GDPR training.
The 4 Site Hub was also identified as a Good Practice by auditors. Since its introduction in November 2024, it has been used for digital training courses and toolbox talks, surveys, group and mass communication, and appraisals. We have seen some good engagement and strong completion rates, with 58 people completing 100% of their assigned training, 30 completing between 90% and 99%, and 10 completing between 80% and 89%.
Eloomi Completion

Next year, we will be looking at improvements through expansion of team knowledge of GDPR, monthly toolbox talks, increased near miss reporting, and improvements to the H&S committee and fire safety processes.
We also want to improve our mental health resources, environmental focus, and will be looking to obtain the Cyber Essentials accreditation.

Services Division

Operations
This year, whilst our permanent and temporary hours contracts have seen an increase, we achieved an impressive total client retention of 99.95% and no service-related terminations.
We are maintaining a strong foothold in Leeds, Manchester, and Liverpool, and have additionally expanded into Staffordshire, South Yorkshire and East and West Midlands. We have seen geographical growth over the last 12 months in North Yorkshire.
With this growth, 4 Site is establishing itself as a major security provider for British companies and worldwide logistics businesses and major charities.
With our growth, we have maintained excellent quality, with service client KPIs showing a very impressive monthly average between 96% and 98%. We also achieved a significant reduction in alarm average response times.

Looking to 2026, we aim to continue The 4 Site Way with continued growth, delighting clients with even higher customer satisfaction targets, and expanding our new client base.

The Patrol & Response department are aiming to develop the supervisor roles further, empower controllers to write AIs, implement new processes for drivers and controllers, review strategies for quicker response times, and ensure all of the P&R team have guidance and structure in place to increase overall performance
Business Development

Our Business Service development figures have been strong over the last year, with the results showing that we have exceeded our targets for the year for each service type. The department not only exceeded targets and supported business growth but also expanded into new locations and business sectors.
They are proud of their high conversion rate, which is a testament to the entire business and the operations team for supporting the sales department with their fantastic service and contract management.

Next year, they are looking forward to strengthening services across the warehouse and distribution sectors and increasing new business meetings from telesales and referrals.
Business Support and HR

The Business Support Team has done an outstanding job of supporting the business through a number of structural changes this year. They were celebrated as Team of the Month due to their hard work, and have been recognised by every department as being an empowered, trusted, and reliable team who work well together.
In the upcoming year, they would like to aim for cross training across the team and succession planning, and complete a fresh analysis of reporting and system capabilities.
Systems Division

Operations & Business Development
The Systems Division has also had a strong year, seeing significant growth across all areas: Installation, Maintenance & Monitoring, and Small Works. Major achievements include a full site takeover which included the installation of 96 Fire alarm systems and takeover of 68 monitoring devices, all working to a stringent deadline.
We have also had growth of strategic relationships with key clients and succeeded in expanding services across the education sector, with plans to expand into further locations within that sector.

The systems division achieved their full BAFE accreditation and ensured that all of their engineers are fully trained in H&S topics using iHasco.
Systems Business Support and Compliance

Business Support for Systems also had a great year, completing projects like the Job Costing Module in CASH and Estimating, and increasing larger project works, with fire alarm continuing to be an area for growth. They added additional Sub-Contractors to assist with Installations, had a great year for customer retention, revamped and expanded their quote templates, and updated their statements to provide the client with more information about outstanding invoices.
Next year, they plan to improve Job costing/Margin analysis reports, increase installations and project works, continue to grow fire alarm and CCTV works, and continue to improve customer communications and experience.
The compliance department, alongside the SSAIB Security audit, which resulted in one already resolved nonconformance, wants to look at reviewing the plethora of upcoming employment law changes and improve their processes, communication and overall group transparency.
Corporate Social Responsibility

4 Site Security is deeply committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), actively investing in time for colleagues to carry out approved voluntary and charitable activities, and recognising these efforts as an important part of personal and professional development. Our support is far-reaching, encompassing causes for young people, local community support, and health initiatives.
Highlights over the last 12 months have been acting as arm sponsors for the AFC Knowsley Girls U10 footballers’ kit and supporting pitch costs; support to the Under 10s Stanningley SARLC rugby club.
On the health and well-being front, our colleagues have volunteered as marshals for major running events, supporting important causes like the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon (for the MND Centre) and the Epilepsy Action Bradford 10k run. Furthermore, team members have personally dedicated holiday time to raising funds for Brain Tumour Research.
Beyond physical events, we have provided security support to local charities, including assistance to St Gemma’s Hospice during their annual Treecycling Event and celebrating our support for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and their 99ers club.
Other community work includes team members giving time to help the Huddersfield Mission with its food and winter pack distribution programme, and dedicating time to introduce young minds to the world of security through school career talks.
These efforts exemplify our commitment to driving positive change and backing the workplace as a force for good.
A Message from Group Managing Director Ashley Kirk

“There have been so many achievements over the last 12 months. However, most significant has, once again, been how our teams have worked towards our business objectives, strongly motivated by our core 4 Site Security Values of Support, Integrity, Trust and Excellence.
Thank you to our colleagues for walking The 4 Site Way and for the ongoing support of our trusted clients. It is a privilege to be part of this journey with you.
We have exciting plans for next year and as our Mission states, ‘We appreciate that all of this is not possible without our people. They are our greatest asset, and we commit to providing them with clear direction, support and training to reach these objectives.”
